Chapter 161

Seeing that his daughter, the king, was really angry, Sanzang comforted him, "People in the world are ignorant, and they need our enlightenment. Don't worry."

"Isn't it difficult to enlighten with kind words!" The daughter king was still furious, and suddenly saw a stone lion not far away, raised his stick, and smashed it to pieces with a ping-pong.

When a monk saw it through the window, he was so frightened that his bones became numb, and he hurriedly hid under the bed, yelling, "Her stick can crush stone lions, we can't resist it!"

The abbot was terrified, and shouted: "The one under the bed, come out for me, go out and meet the eminent monk!"

"Don't go, don't go! You have to go by yourself, this temple is yours, so you should go!"

The abbot was furious. He looked around and saw that everyone was afraid to look him in the face. He lamented, "Hey! Then I'll go! None of you are good!"

The abbot had no choice but to sacrifice his life, opened the door, tried to put on a smiling face, and said loudly:
"The little monk is old and dim-sighted. He doesn't know the true Buddha. He offended the two of you. Please forgive me."

The daughter King looked at his smiling face, which was uglier than crying, and turned to Sanzang, saying:
"Come on, he came out, and his attitude is also respectful, Brother Yu, go and enlighten him!"

Sanzang couldn't help shaking his head and said, "Sure enough, ghosts are also afraid of wicked people."

Hearing his teasing, the abbot was afraid that he would be a ghost if he was killed, so he kowtowed in apology.

Sanzang said: "Old abbot, please stand up. You don't need to salute anymore. You and I are both Buddhist disciples, with different powers and equal status!"

The abbot hastily waved his hand: "You are an imperial envoy from the upper kingdom, and you are a holy monk who has attained the Tao. Now I am here in the barren mountain, but I don't know the dignity with ordinary eyes, so I neglected the holy monk. Ask the holy monk, do you eat vegetarian? Or eat meat? Do you drink or not? ? We can go cook dinner."

Sanzang was speechless, and said, "How can you eat meat? Naturally, monks are vegetarians."

The abbot asked, "What about this girl?"

The daughter king said: "I am also a vegetarian, and I am a vegetarian. Although I have some wine, I can't drink it today. After all, I am in a temple, isn't it!"

The abbot exclaimed: "This vicious woman is also a vegetarian!"

"I'll go, what do you mean, you bald donkey!" The daughter king glared.

"Slip of the tongue, slip of the tongue, the poor monk just thinks that the heroine's martial arts are world-class, and I'm afraid that vegetarians won't be able to produce such great strength!"

The daughter king yelled: "If you dare to call me a fierce woman again, I will destroy your temple!"

The monks panicked, and ran to the backyard in a panic, cleaned the pots and stoves, arranged tea and meals, and set up tables and chairs to entertain the two.

After eating, Sanzang sat cross-legged in the Daxiong Hall and preached to the monks.

This was intentional by the abbot. First, he wanted to see if Sanzang was a real monk. Second, he wanted to show off his full knowledge of Buddhism, so that this monk who learned from the East would know his worth, and not threaten him with force at every turn.

Sanzang naturally would not refuse, and quickly entered the state.First, I talked about the "Lianghuang Water Repentance" of Hinayana Buddhism, discussed "Peacock Sutra" for a while, and then discussed in detail the "Lotus Sutra" and other scriptures in Mahayana Buddhism.

For a moment, the sound of chanting resounded through the hall, and the old abbot was shocked as a heavenly being. He looked at the majestic Tripitaka in a daze, and sighed:

"This is really a holy monk, as if the Buddha came in person! In the main hall, he is obviously chanting sutras alone, why is there a thunderous sound of ten thousand Buddhas singing together!"

The daughter king was watching from outside the hall, thinking: "Leiyin? Leiyin! Daleiyin Temple! That's what the name of the ashram in Lingshan means!"

When the monks saw the light of Buddha coming out from the back of Sanzang's head, their hearts were surging, as if they were listening to a sermon on a spiritual mountain, with thunderous sounds, the Buddhist scriptures that entered their ears seemed to directly enter the soul and wash away in the depths of their hearts.

Some monks had an epiphany, not only understanding the meaning of this scripture, but even comprehending by analogy, and integrating the scriptures that they had learned but did not quite understand.

Only then did the old abbot and the monks realize that they were mortals with naked eyes, regarded pearls as poop, and almost missed the fate of Buddha.

An hour later, the lecture ended. All the monks of Baolin Temple worshiped devoutly, just like paying homage to the Buddha.

After the monks came out of the hall, they saw the daughter king standing beside them, and quickly kowtowed again, saying that they were grateful for the enlightenment by force.

The daughter king smiled wryly, didn't bother to talk to them, fluttered her dress and walked away, and went back to the meditation room by herself.

After Sanzang came back, he saw her looking up at the moon, and he also looked up at the moon. On the day of the bright moon, he couldn't help but chant: "The bright soul is hanging in the sky, and the mirror is hanging, and the mountains and rivers are full of shadows. Qionglou Yuyu is full of clear light, and the ice mirror is refreshing cyclone.

Konger, look at the fullness and emptiness of the moon, which means pure and unobstructed. "

When the daughter king heard the words, she approached and replied: "Brother Yu, you only know the brilliance of the moon, which is pure and unobstructed, but you don't know that the moon is the rule of the innate dharma in the door."

Sanzang wondered, "I'm just thinking of learning the Taoist method. Since I mentioned it today, please tell me about it."

The daughter king patiently said: "Taoism says that the sun is yang and the moon is yin. It also says that there is yin within yang, and yang within yin.

This month itself has both yin and yang.On the thirtieth day of each month, the soul of the sun is gone, and the night is pure black without light, which is called darkness. On the third day of the first day, the first yang appears, on the eighth day, the second yang is born, and on the fifteenth day, the three yangs are fully prepared, so that they can reunite, which is called hope. One yin is born on the 22th, two yins are born on the [-]nd, and on the [-]th, the three yins are fully prepared, and then it returns to darkness, and the cycle repeats.Taoism is based on this as the basis of congenital refining.

Sanzang nodded and said, "There are ways! I don't understand!"

The daughter king smiled: "It's strange if you understand it all at once, you just need to understand this sentence."

"Which one?"

"The full moon is the cathode that produces the yang!"

After hearing the words, Sanzang realized it silently for a long time, and said with a smile: "This means that the front of the string belongs to yang, the back of the string belongs to yin, the middle of yin is half of yang, and yin and yang alternate!"

When the daughter king saw Sanzang, she was enlightened for a moment, gave him a thumbs up, and explained in detail the basic knowledge of Taoism, such as the division of yin and yang in Taiji, the four phenomena of two appearances, the five elements of metal, wood, water, fire, and earth, the heavenly stems and earthly branches, and the 64 phenomena of the eight trigrams.

Sanzang listened quietly and memorized slowly. Before Zishi, he knew more than half of it, and sighed: "I always knew that the Buddha's Dharma is boundless, but who would have thought that the Dao Dharma is also boundless. Fortunately, you led me into the path of practice, and I have an infinite life. Otherwise, Where is the time to comprehend this world!"

"Brother Yu is an elephant, you know, the desire to know is also a desire! Everything is natural, and you can't force it!"

Sanzang shook his head and objected, "It's seeking knowledge, not desire for knowledge!"

At this time, the two of them heard a fluttering sound outside the door, the wind was blowing continuously, the temperature dropped suddenly, and there was a feeling of howling wind.

The cold wind blew into the house along the window, and the airflow in the room also became violent. The oil lamp was on or off, causing Sanzang to frown, and he took the oil lamp to his side.

Sanzang was full of Buddha power, and his daughter King was surrounded by fairy spirit. Although the wind was strong, she couldn't get close to her. Only then did the light flickering stop. Sanzang said suspiciously:

"This seems to be haunted by ghosts. Could it be that there was a murder case in this Baolin Temple?"

The daughter king looked around and saw a ghost at the window, trembling, trying to enter the house, but was blocked by the auspicious light, and asked: "Where is the ghost outside the window, even the Buddha's light can't be broken, how dare you deceive yourself into it?" Room?"
