Those thoughts were like bubbles. Ao Qing used his mental power to break them, but it caused more bubbles, which made him feel constrained for a while. out!

But at this moment, in the eyes of Patriarch Bodhi, on Ao Qing's dragon body, countless black lights entangled his body, like chains, tightly bound him in place, making him unable to move!

Those dark lights are the so-called "cause and effect".

Cause and effect, that is, cause and result, Buddhism believes that all active methods are generated or destroyed according to the principle of cause and effect.

The so-called: causal loop.

All the "causes" that happen in this life will eventually have corresponding "fruits".If one cannot understand cause and effect, one cannot reach "enlightenment" and achieve the highest state after all.

Among the top ten disciples of the Buddha, Moggallana, the "supernatural power", was once a very promising person to achieve the status of Bodhisattva and Buddha.However, because he couldn't see through the cause and effect, he died because of the entanglement of karma. This is the proof of "supernatural powers are not as good as karma".

Today's Ao Qing, Patriarch Bodhi also believes that his talent is not inferior to that of Moggallana, or even stronger.

However, if, like Moggallana, he can't see through the principle of "cause and effect cycle", then in the end, I'm afraid he still won't be able to fully inherit his true teachings.

In his heart, he couldn't let go of the Dragon Clan.

In Ao Qing's heart, if she wants to practice, on the one hand, it is of course to be able to transcend herself.But on the other hand, a large part of the reason is to revitalize the Dragon Clan.

However, this is a contradiction!

Buddha is strong enough, right?In order to avenge the insult, King Liuli used the power of the whole country to attack the Sakyas three times, but was persuaded by the Buddha to retreat.

However, at the fourth time, the Buddha also knew that this was the result of the common karma of the Sakya clan, and it was inevitable, so he could no longer stop it.

At that time, Moggallana didn't know this reason, and wanted to forcibly disobey, and put some people of the Sakya clan into the bowl with supernatural powers, in order to continue the clan.Unexpectedly, after the army passed, the people of the Bozhong tribe were still turned into blood!
Even Sakyamuni was unable to save the Sakyamuni in the end.Now, although the Dragon Clan is not destined to perish like the Sakya Clan, it has been glorious since the beginning of the world, and now it is time to reach the "trough".

Ao Qing, if you can't see through this point, how can you practice Taoism?

Therefore, in this "third test", Patriarch Bodhi hopes to help Ao Qing get rid of karma in his heart, attain Bodhi, and understand cause and effect!

Under the bodhi tree, only those who are pure in body and mind, as enlightened as the Buddha of the past, can reach it!

Ao Qing also seemed to understand this truth.

After repeated failures to suppress karma, he already knew that the bodhi tree represented the meaning of "abandoning the world of mortals and seeking self-detachment".

Everyone has their own destiny!With Ao Qing's personal strength, he may be able to change the path some people want to take, but how can he go against the general trend?
In Buddhism, there is a saying that "supernatural powers are not as good as karma".In Taoism, there is also a saying that "the water of a great river cannot flow back". Although the content described in it is not exactly the same, the truth embodied to a certain extent is similar.

Sometimes, perhaps letting go is the only answer.

But now, the bodhi tree wanted him to give up his identity as a "dragon".So if you really do this, what exactly are you?

"My life has a limit, and my knowledge has no limit. If there is a limit, follow the limitless, and I will perish myself!"

This is what Zhuangzi once said.

Today, the same applies to the present situation.

The world of mortals is turbulent and boundless.

The divergence of consciousness is also endless.

Past and present lives, although they are the funeral affairs of the insignificant past.However, it is still impossible to do it alone.

Ao Qing already knew this truth.However, he doesn't have to choose to give up, but to accept!

In the pool in front of me, the countless disturbances are like countless bubbles. If one is broken, it will cause the other to resurface.To solve these bubbles, one is to abandon the pool of water, but the other is to maintain one's own heart instead of being bound by the pool of water.

Instead of popping the bubble, just quietly, watch the bubble.Until its natural disappearance!

All conditioned dharmas are like dreams and bubbles, like dew or electricity, and they should be viewed as such!

Ao Qing looked at the bodhi tree.

Suddenly, he started to move again. Although countless karma generated and transformed all things, tightly entangled and bound his body, but above his dragon body, there was a spiritual light that flew out, bringing Ao The original self of the second life, exuding clarity and freedom, rushes to the place of Bodhi!
