The patriarch said: "That's right, is this disciple surprised? What the demon lord Bo Xun cultivated is just the word 'heart'. But it is the way of being a teacher and the way of the Tathagata. It is different but works the same."

The patriarch pointed to the sky, then to the ground, but he pointed to the three-star cave, and said, "'heart'."

"The Tathagata Buddha also cultivated the 'heart'?" Ao Qing became more and more confused.

In the previous life, many people once said that Patriarch Bodhi was one of the top ten disciples of Tathagata Buddha, "Subhuti", which corresponds to Tang Seng.However, Ao Qing didn't think so.

Because "Subhuti" is actually not a name.The Venerable Subhuti, one of the ten great disciples of Sakyamuni, was actually called "Kongsheng" in his real name. After worshiping Sakyamuni as his teacher, his Dharma name was "good karma", and Subhuti was actually just a title.

The patriarch said: "Disciple, you are wrong again. Although evil karma is indeed a method used by the devil to confuse mortals and even practitioners, it is not the foundation for the devil."

Bodhi tree... Bodhi Patriarch...

Ao Qing said: "But karma should be real, right? Monsters do evil, trigger karma, and thus fall into the devil's way. That evil karma is the foundation of the devil's way."

Seeing this, the patriarch knew that Ao Qing had guessed many facts, and said, "Apprentice, you are really smart. When I was in Xiniu Hezhou, it happened that the Taoist ancestor was going west, and the purple air was coming from the east. The bodhi tree turned Buddha into Taoism, enlightened Daluo, and cultivated great enlightenment. At that time, Bo Xun didn't want Tathagata to become Buddha, so he went to attack and fight Tathagata. He happened to realize Taoism and fight under my tree. Everyone has seen the scene of bodhi blossoming. Thus, they have realized the "bodhicitta". However, everyone's bodhicitta is different. Although the two of them came from the same source, they took completely different paths."

Ao Qing really didn't understand this, and said respectfully: "Since that's the case, what is the foundation of the devil's way?"

No, Patriarch Bodhi should have existed since the beginning of the world.It was only 3 years ago that the three religions merged to form the Fangcun Mind Realm.Moreover, for great supernatural beings, time is meaningless in the first place. Once you become a Da Luo Tianxian, you can go back in time and return to the source.

"Heart?"

The patriarch said: "The aptitude is dull, but it is not. You are a person with rare aptitude that I have seen. You can be said to be a piece of jade. However, it is true that many things in the Three Realms are not very clear. I Let me ask you, is the demon lord Bo Xun a monster?"

The beard is infinitely vast.Bodhi is wisdom.The meaning of Subhuti means "great wisdom".

In addition, Patriarch Bodhi's three teachings are one, and his image, knowledge, and supernatural powers are also very different from Subhuti.Therefore, compared to Subhuti, Ao Qing is more inclined to be the "Bodhi tree" that enlightens the Buddha.

Of course, it is not ruled out that it is because Patriarch Bodhi thought that after Sun Wukong was expelled from the school, he might worship Tang Seng as his teacher.Therefore, he deliberately let the woodcutter say that he was "named Subhuti", which is an ambiguous title.In case Sun Wukong worshiped Tang Seng as his teacher and made himself a generation shorter out of thin air.

This is also possible.In fact, since the woodcutter said "named Subhuti", the word "xu" was never mentioned in the original text, and they all said "Bodhi Patriarch".
