Chapter 116 Fertilizers

Chapter 116 Fertilizers
In the name of Lopez's family, the chemical fertilizer production base that cooperated with Donghua Group has completed a large part of the infrastructure construction at this time.

On Donghua Group's side, even Wu Heguang went to the factory in person to keep an eye on each production workshop, striving to complete all equipment on time.

Although there is still some time before the equipment handover deadline, the contract between the two parties was signed in September 19, and all the equipment will be transported to Luzon before mid-June this year.

Seeing that there are about four more months left, Wu Heguang dare not be careless at this time.

After all, this time the order was very urgent. All the equipment manufacturing was completed in 10 months, and the production line was basically stretched to the limit. He also deployed a large number of manpower to ensure the current production speed.

Especially some time ago, several spare parts suppliers in Jiangcheng and Lianghu areas were unable to supply on time, which made Wu Heguang a little bit overwhelmed, and had to temporarily increase prices and find other factories to replace them.

After all, this piece of equipment is worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and some of the key equipment, the synthetic ammonia production line, requires a special factory to manufacture some spare parts, and even some parts suppliers are made by a single company.

This made Wu Heguang a little anxious these days, constantly asking those suppliers to ensure the timely supply of parts.

The Lopez family is also urging, and the excuse is very legitimate.

That is, Luzon's grain is now facing the attack of ABCD, and the price of pesticides and fertilizers has risen abnormally, which makes Luzon more urgent to realize the localization of pesticides and fertilizers.

……

the other side.

The supply of chemical fertilizers and pesticides in Luzon at this time is indeed a bit serious.

After all, chemical giants such as Dow, BASF, Bayer, and DuPont wear the same pair of pants as ABCD.

If it weren't for the fertilizers and pesticides supplied by some Huaguo chemical companies, Luzon would have been eaten to death by these guys.

But this situation is not set in stone.

In the Lima South Biogas Fermentation Plant in southern Luzon.

After being fermented by the genetically modified methane bacteria, the remaining fermentation waste was quickly sucked into another workshop on the west side of the factory.

Employees in protective suits are manipulating the equipment. The waste liquid and residue are thrown out of most of the water by the roller, and the remaining waste residue passes through the production line, adding a small amount of wood chips and grass powder, and pouring them into long plates.

Then the long plates are sent to the next plant by the conveyor belt, which is a mushroom planting plant, and employees in protective clothing inject bacteria into each long plate.

There are already grown mushrooms in the factory, which look like ordinary mushrooms, but when the employees harvest the mushrooms, the long plates used as culture medium are sent to another factory.

In this workshop, the culture medium that has grown a crop of mushrooms is taken out and sent to the sieving machine.

After shaking and cleaning, the culture medium is separated into secondary culture materials and mycelial nodules of mushrooms. These nodules are sent to pheromone sterilization furnaces, high-temperature disinfection furnaces, and finally processed by pulverizers and auxiliary materials. Into a bag of organic nitrogen fertilizer with a nitrogen content of 12%.

Zhang Wei, who is in charge of Haitian Agriculture, grabbed a handful of powder and smiled at Emerald Energy's General Manager Bree:
"That's right. Cooperatives around the world have recently reported that the use of our organic fertilizer has been very effective. The amount of urea used per mu has been reduced by about 62%, and soil compaction has also been reduced. In addition, the organic matter content of the soil can be maintained for the second season of cultivation, and there will be no problems. Significant decline in organic matter."

"It's good that it can be used, so that our other biogas fermentation plants can also be transformed." Brie happily replied.

They have also introduced fermented muck before. Although the fertility and organic matter content are quite good, there are still many problems.

One of the most troublesome problems is that the nutrients in the muck are uneven, it is difficult to determine the amount of use, and fertilizer damage is prone to occur.

After the purification of genetically modified mushrooms and genetically modified rhizobia, it not only becomes organic fertilizer, but also obtains a large amount of organic nitrogen through rhizobia.

"General Manager Bri, what is the current output of this factory?"

"Probably about 5000-6000 tons can be produced per month. If the transformation of other biogas fermentation plants is completed, it is estimated that it can reach about 30 tons per month."

Zhang Wei evaluated it and found that this output can replace 10 tons of agricultural urea (nitrogen content 42% to 46%).

The reason why so much can be replaced is that urea will lose at least 50% during use.

The long-term effect of organic fertilizer will increase the utilization rate of nitrogen.

Of course, chemical fertilizers are still essential. When fast topdressing is required, organic fertilizers are inferior to chemical fertilizers. Organic fertilizers are suitable as base fertilizers and soil improvers, as well as reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers used.

Zhang Wei is not a novice at the beginning. After he has been working hard and learning, coupled with the influence of so many agricultural scientific researchers in the company, he naturally understands that chemical fertilizers and organic fertilizers are an indispensable part of modern agriculture.

"As for the technicians, I will arrange them as soon as possible. After all, the ABCD gang of garbage is watching outside."

Bree also nodded: "There is no problem on my side. The venue and equipment will be in place soon, but it's a pity to feed those mushrooms to pigs."

"It's not okay to sell it on the market. Although there is not much risk of eating it, our mushroom production is enough. If we continue to increase the scale of the market, Fengrao will not agree. It is also very good as pig feed."

Bree shrugged: "OK, anyway, I don't reject genetically modified mushrooms, and I often eat insect protein. We have to learn to adapt, after all, this is the future!"

Zhang Wei naturally understood what the other party was talking about. After all, Homo sapiens often held seminars on the future world. Many people were not optimistic about the future of mankind. Bree was the kind of person who worried about the end of the world.

After the inspection of the Limanan Biogas Fermentation Plant was completed, Zhang Wei went to the Limanan Seaweed Refining Base non-stop.

This seaweed refining base is currently the largest refining base under Haitian Agriculture.

The base can produce 150 million tons of seaweed starch, 30 tons of trehalose, 600 million tons of seaweed fiber (which can be processed into various syrups) and 80 tons of carrageenan annually.

Recently, an organic compound fertilizer production plant has been added, which mainly uses three kinds of genetically modified seaweed to enrich potassium salt and phosphate from seawater and nitrogen from the air, and then send these seaweed to the biogas fermentation plant in the base.

In addition to producing methane, these seaweed fermentation residues are dried, ground into powder, added with calcium oxide, and mixed in a certain proportion to produce organic fertilizers containing nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and various trace elements.

There are no potassium salt mines and large phosphate mines in Luzon, so this organic compound fertilizer can only be produced by bioconcentration.

This factory produces about 150 million tons of organic compound fertilizers per year, or produces individual organic nitrogen fertilizers, organic potassium fertilizers, and organic phosphorus fertilizers.

If you want to use chemical fertilizers and pesticides to carve Luzon's neck, ABCD is wishful thinking.

Regarding the problem of pesticides, Haitian Agriculture intends to adopt pheromone control method, genetically modified immunity method, and pesticides to reduce the use of pesticides.

Of course, Haitian Agriculture will also develop its own chemical pesticides.

This shows how difficult it is for small countries to achieve agricultural independence.

As soon as Luzon showed signs of separation, ABCD joined forces with a group of chemical giants and seed companies to deal with Luzon.

This confrontation is almost ubiquitous.
