Turning the tide in the Red Chamber

Chapter 39 [039] Shi Xiangyun

Chapter 39 [039] Shi Xiangyun
This little chubby girl was delicate and cute, with two big watery eyes, zhanzhan and spirit, and her skin was white and tender, like a peeled egg.

Mustache hurriedly saluted the little fat girl:

"The little one greets the eldest lady!"

The little chubby girl put her left hand on her hip, raised her right hand and waved it again and again, and responded boldly:

"Now you don't have to stick to the red tape, who are you going to call? Call me quickly, it's time to watch a show!"

Mustache said with a smile: "Little one obeys!"

After all, he looked at the strong men and ordered:

"Why are you still standing there? Hurry up! Whoever plays well will be rewarded!"

As soon as he finished speaking, six strong men rushed towards Jia Chen.

Some punched, some slapped, and some kicked.
"boom!"

"boom!"

"boom!"

Accompanied by six muffled sounds, the six strong men had their mouths and noses crooked, their nosebleeds sprang up, and they fell to the ground, weeping bitterly and howling miserably.

The little chubby girl was tongue-tied, she was stunned for a moment, then cheered and clapped her hands:

"Well played! Well played! It was amazing!"

As she said that, she looked at the trembling mustache and asked with a heartless smile:
"Shopkeeper, didn't you just say that whoever plays well will be rewarded a lot? Why don't you reward this little brother?"

Jia Chen couldn't help but want to laugh, this little chubby girl is really stupid, she beat all her servants to the ground, and she even wants to reward herself with money?

Really innocent and cute!
Mustache looked confused, and wanted to refuse, but didn't dare, so he had to ask:

"Miss, how much reward is appropriate?"

The little chubby girl sucked her index finger, blinked her big eyes and thought for a while, then said with a smile:
"Since it's a heavy reward, at least ten taels must be given, right?"

When she smiled, her eyebrows were curved, and two sweet dimples appeared on her chubby little face.

Xiao Huzi wanted to cry, but he wanted to snatch Jia Chen's manuscript and make a deal without money, but he didn't expect that all his people were knocked to the ground, and he also took ten taels of silver.

"Okay then, I will follow Missy's orders!" Mustache's heart was bleeding, but he didn't dare to disobey, so he tremblingly took out ten taels of silver and handed it to Jia Chen reluctantly.

"Interesting!" Jia Chen smiled casually, took it and put it in his pocket. He had spent a little bit of punching and kicking just now, and the ten taels of silver should be regarded as a little compensation from the other party.

"Xiangyun, you kid, how can you run so fast?"

Outside the door, a man's call suddenly came.

Jia Chen followed the prestige and saw a middle-aged man with luxurious clothes and an extraordinary bearing walking in.

"Uncle Ai!" The little chubby girl yelled sweetly, ran over and grabbed the middle-aged man's clothes, whimpering coquettishly.

This little chubby girl has a big tongue and can't speak clearly, so she pronounced "Second Uncle" as "Ai Shu".

Jia Chen was slightly taken aback. This middle-aged man and the little fat girl are called "Xiangyun", and this library is called "Historical Records Study". Doesn't that mean that this little fat girl is Shi Xiangyun?

Unexpectedly, according to the original book, this chubby little silly girl would turn into a beautiful woman with a bee waist, monkey back, crane mantis shape, slender waist and light body when she grows up.

It's just that I dare not say whether her baby-fat chubby face can be slimmed down.

And the second uncle Shi Xiangyun called should be Zhongjinghou Shi Ding.

Shi Xiangyun's father was the oldest historian, but died young, so Shi Xiangyun had to live with his second uncle Shi Ding.

But this is only temporary. In the original book, Shi Ding later made a big mistake and was deprived of his title.

In desperation, Shi Xiangyun had no choice but to join his third uncle Baolinghou Shi Nai again.

As for what mistake Shi Ding made, although it is not clearly stated in the original book, based on some clues, Jia Chen deduced a very probable reason.

In the original book, after Qin Keqing hanged himself in Tianxianglou, the four kings, eight princes and twelve princes sent people to send birthday gifts with name cards.

Among them was Zhongjing Hou Shi Ding.

The frightening thing is that Jia Zhen made Qin Keqing's funeral grand and extravagant, comparable to a prince's funeral.

As a result, this funeral violated the dynasty's etiquette.

This is a felony in Dazhou.

However, the founding line represented by the four kings, eight lords and twelve lords deliberately did this, the purpose was to demonstrate to the emperor and at the same time express support for the Supreme Emperor.

This funeral not only laid the root of the Jia family's downfall, but also sounded the death knell for the founding of the country.

The emperor feared that the founding of the country was deeply rooted and powerful, so he didn't dare to uproot it all at once, but he still seized the opportunity to find out the fault of Zhongjing Hou Shi Ding, and took the opportunity to deprive Shi Ding of his marquis.

Of course, these are just Jia Chen's guesses, but even if Qin Keqing's fate is changed by him in the future, Shi Ding may still make the same mistake and be deprived of his title.

As for what mistakes Shi Ding will make, it is unknown.

Shi Ding smiled and stroked Shi Xiangyun's head a few times, his eyes fell on the strong men who were writhing all over the floor, gasping for breath in pain, and he froze for a moment.

"What's going on?" Shi Ding exclaimed.

The mustache shopkeeper hurriedly complained first:

"Report to Second Master, this kid stole a manuscript from our study!"

Shi Ding was startled when he heard the words, stared at Jia Chen, and said sharply:

"Where is this little thief? How dare you steal from our historian?"

Jia Chen cupped his hands calmly and said:

"My nephew has met Uncle Shi, and I am Jia Chen, a son of the Rongguo Mansion. The shopkeeper under you is telling black and white, talking nonsense. In fact, I did not steal the manuscript, but he instigated these evil slaves to steal my manuscript. "

Shi Ding was slightly taken aback, his face paled, and he said half-believingly:

"You are a descendant of the Jia family? Then how do you prove that this manuscript is yours?"

Jia Chen sneered and said:
"It's very simple. I just showed the shopkeeper the first page. He didn't read the second page and didn't know the content of the second page. But I can easily recite it, because this is the book "Liao Fan" Author of "Four Trainings."

Shi Ding said suspiciously:
"Then you give me the second page, you recite it, and I'll see if what you said is true?"

"Okay!" Jia Chen readily pulled out the second page and handed it to Shi Ding.

Immediately afterwards, he began to recite:
"Yu Wen said: But the number can escape.

Said: Fate is up to me, and blessings are sought by myself. What is called in the poems and books is Ming Xun.

It is said in my scriptures that if you seek wealth and honor, you will be rich, if you seek a man and woman, you will get a man and woman, and if you seek longevity, you will live a long life. Lying is the great precept of Sakyamuni. All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, don’t lie to deceive people.”

(The meaning of this passage is: I asked Zen Master Yungu: "Can a person really get rid of the shackles of fate?"

The Zen master said: "Fate is created by me, and blessings are sought by myself. What is said in the poems and books is indeed a wise saying.

Buddhist scriptures also say that if you sincerely pursue wealth, you will get wealth, if you sincerely pursue children, you will have children, and if you sincerely pursue longevity, you will get longevity.Lying is a great precept in Buddhism, is it possible for Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to tell lies? ")
As Jia Chen recited word by word, Shi Ding's eyes became brighter and brighter.

As the Marquis of Zhongjing, he has also read a lot of poetry and books, so he naturally knows how valuable this manuscript is.

If this manuscript was really written by the young man in front of him, then the talent of this boy can be called heaven-defying. Calling him a child prodigy would be a bit condescending, but he should be called a genius!
After Jia Chen finished reciting the last word, he found that Shi Ding was still in a daze, so he smiled lightly and said:

"Second Uncle Shi, I wonder if my nephew recited it correctly?"

Only then did Shi Ding come back to his senses, with a look of approval in his eyes, he slightly nodded and said: "Exactly, exactly!"

The mustache next to him became impatient, and hurriedly said:
"This kid must have a good memory. I just read it and remembered it. Second master, he really stole this manuscript!"
