Chapter 871 Passport

"Prepare the car and go to Dongsheng Heavy Industry!" Yang Dongsheng pressed the intercom.

When Yang Dongsheng arrived at Dongsheng Heavy Industry, the "No. [-] Material Research Group" was worrying.

Although they have made several new plans, each has its own difficulties.

For example, as proposed by the Materials Research Center, first make a thin-walled cylinder, and then do spiral cutting.

It seems to simplify the process, but it is not simple.

In industry, manufacturing ultra-thin-wall seamless steel pipes is a big problem, not to mention the materials they process are extremely special.

Whether it is rolling, pulling, or pulling, the material will inevitably expand.

"This is not a problem! Tell me about the length, diameter, wall thickness and other parameters, and I will ask them to directly manufacture a batch and send it to you!"

For Yang Dongsheng, it doesn't matter whether it's a cylinder or a cuboid, as long as it's a regular-shaped object.

And the workload will not be very large, after all, the world's demand for superconducting materials is not many tons in total.

Although a part of the work had to be distributed to the brother units, which made Vice President Wang feel a sense of crisis, they finally left some of the work.

"Take me to see your current results!" Yang Dongsheng stood up and said.

"President Yang, this way please!" Vice President Wang made a gesture of invitation to Yang Dongsheng, "Our superconducting research laboratory has not yet been established, and our understanding of this material is actually very limited!"

Vice President Wang is not modest. As a superconducting material, they don't even know the critical magnetic field and critical current density of this nickel-iron alloy.

The superconducting critical magnetic field means that when the magnetic field strength on the surface of the superconductor reaches a certain magnetic field strength, the material temporarily loses its superconducting state.

The case of critical current density is similar.

Among the currently known superconducting materials, the critical current density of niobium-titanium alloy can reach the level of ten to the seventh power amps per square centimeter—there will be some fluctuations depending on the specific ratio of the material.

That is, in the superconducting state, the niobium-titanium alloy with a cross-section of one square centimeter can allow more than 1000 million amperes of current to pass through while still maintaining superconductivity.

This is very scary!

The current household single-phase ammeter generally allows a maximum current of 40 amps.

A simple calculation shows that a niobium-titanium alloy cable with a cross-section of one square centimeter can provide electricity to 250 million households within the superconducting critical temperature.

Under the ultra-strong magnetic field of five tesla, the niobium-titanium alloy still has a critical current density of more than 10 amps per square centimeter.

Therefore, in the nuclear magnetic resonance machine, the niobium-titanium alloy can be drawn into a wire thinner than a hair.

The critical magnetic field of superconductivity is often more important than the critical current density.

The upper critical magnetic field of niobium-titanium alloy is only a little over 10 tesla.

In practical application, it is usually used in occasions where the magnetic field strength is below 7 Tesla.

In the case of more than 7 Tesla, materials with a higher superconducting critical magnetic field, such as niobium-tin alloys, will be used.

The upper critical magnetic field of the niobium-tin alloy can be above 20 tesla.

However, niobium-tin alloys are too brittle and cannot be drawn into wires like niobium-titanium alloys. Only diffusion methods, plasma spraying methods, and vapor deposition methods can be used.

Moreover, the melting point of tin is only a fraction of that of niobium.

Superconducting wires made of niobium-tin alloys are several times more expensive than niobium-titanium alloys.

NMR machines used in hospitals are usually niobium-titanium alloys, and high-frequency NMR spectrometers and high-energy accelerators used in laboratories must use niobium-tin alloys.

This is also why many people wonder, since they are all superconductors, why can our country manufacture high-energy accelerators, but not nuclear magnetic resonance machines?

Because the materials they use are not of the same class at all, the craftsmanship is completely different, and the price is not at the same level at all!
According to the consistent performance of this nickel-iron alloy, Vice President Wang guessed that its superconducting critical magnetic field strength and critical current density may exceed the existing superconducting materials by a large margin.

Vice President Wang took Yang Dongsheng to see the newly processed samples of high-pressure turbine stator blades and moving blades.

Due to the further increase in the temperature of the combustion chamber, the stator blades must also use this nickel-iron alloy.

I also saw the cemented carbide processing workshop, where the electrolytic machining process is being tested.

This process hardly produces an expansion layer, but the accuracy of electrolytic machining is not easy to control, and they are trying to improve it.

Changan Engine Branch sent over their latest design.

At the beginning, General Electric's F-110 aeroengine, that is, Dongsheng Heavy Industry's Huanghe small bypass ratio aeroengine, used a design of 3-stage fan, 9-stage high-pressure compressor, single-stage high-pressure turbine, and 2-stage low-pressure turbine.

To increase the thrust-to-weight ratio, reduce the weight of the engine.

In the F-22 engine produced by Pratt & Whitney for the F-119, the fan is still 3 stages, but the high-pressure compressor is reduced to 6 stages, and the high-pressure turbine and low-pressure turbine are both single-stage.

General Electric's YF-120 engine is more thorough, and the number of stages of the fan and compressor is even one stage less than that of the F119.

Dongsheng Heavy Industry is inferior to General Electric and Pratt & Whitney in terms of blade design. On the turbine, it even tried to reduce the efficiency to ensure the exhaust temperature.

Their preliminary design uses a 3-stage fan, a 7-stage high-pressure compressor, and a single-stage high-pressure turbine and low-pressure turbine.

……

Under the heavy reward, the eight Il-76s borrowed by Liu Xinyu rushed to Shanghai quickly, and another twelve were borrowed, which are being transferred from various places one after another.

After three days of northeasterly winds in the disaster area, the wind direction changed to easterly.

The An-124 of Voith Aviation was also put into the disaster relief.

After the wind direction changed, the wind direction over the mainland also changed to an easterly wind. North China was affected to some extent, and volcanic ash fell on some cities.

Fortunately, the impact is not great.

On the one hand, after the second major eruption of the volcano, it seems that the energy is exhausted, and the amount of material ejected every day is much less.

On the other hand, the distance is too far, nearly 2000 kilometers from the disaster area to North China.

Worse affected was South Korea, where cities experienced power outages and respiratory illnesses.

In less than a week, they brought back [-] to [-] high-end talents and their families from the disaster area.

If it weren't for Yang Dongsheng's subordinates, with the largest hotel chain system in the country at this time, it really wouldn't be able to accommodate so many people at once.

After reporting the results as usual, Director Li said, "According to the reaction from the disaster area, the biggest problem there is the passport!"

Although since September 2003, 9, we have implemented a 1-day visa exemption for XX.

But you still need an ordinary passport to board the plane.

In this catastrophe, many people didn't have time to get passports, or simply didn't have passports, and never went abroad.

Director Li continued, "Although in the past, it was very easy to apply for a passport or reissue a passport in the disaster area, but now it is in chaos, and XXXX has no time to apply for passports for them."
