Later, through the introduction of the Su-27, the AL-31 engine was obtained, and the turbofan-10 borrowed the design of the AL-31 low-pressure compressor, low-pressure turbine, and lubricating oil system.

But the engine rotors in the United States rotate along the course—that is, when viewed from the pilot's position, they rotate clockwise.

Russian engines rotate counterclockwise when viewed along the course.

The result of combining the two is that the low-pressure compressor and the high-pressure compressor, and the high-pressure turbine and the low-pressure turbine rotate counter to each other.

For aeroengines with small bypass ratios such as F-110 and AL-31, the compressor and turbine speeds are often tens of thousands of revolutions.

The technical difficulty of trying to combine the two is too great.

In addition, the lubricating oil system of AL-31 has serious defects, and our high-pressure turbine blades have never reached the level of the United States.
