According to the calculation of 200 cubic meters of residual coke oven gas produced by producing one ton of coke, a coking base of 390 million tons is required to support one Dongsheng-[-] gas turbine to run at full capacity for one year.

Even the smaller aeroderivative gas turbine "Pearl River", although its power is only one tenth of that of Dongsheng-390, but its thermal efficiency is not as good as F-class gas turbines, it needs nearly 1 million cubic meters of natural gas or CBM.

According to the conversion of the calorific value of natural gas and coke oven gas, a million-ton coking plant is needed to support it.

"The supporting facilities of a large-scale coking plant with a million-ton level are already very complete, and our equipment is not needed; the scale of a coking plant without supporting equipment is too small, and the coke oven gas produced is simply not enough to burn. We have also considered using diesel engines. But our diesel engines are used for vehicles, and the power is generally too small!" Vice President Wang spread his hands helplessly.
