Chapter 574
In the eighth year of Chongzhen (1635), Song Yingxing was appointed as the teacher of Fenyi County, Yuanzhou Prefecture, Jiangxi Province. The professors and students are the teaching staff who have not entered the stream, which is equivalent to the lack of staff.

He stayed here for a few years, and there was nothing to do. The key point was that almost all the students in this era didn't like what he had learned.

So Song Yingxing did research when he had nothing to do, and then wrote a book. He wrote it until December 1636, affecting future generations, and it can even be said that it has influenced future generations for 200 years.

Tiangong Kaiwu consists of 18 articles in three volumes, upper, middle and lower, with 123 illustrations, depicting the names, shapes, and processes of more than 130 production technologies and tools.

The title of the book is taken from "Shangshu·Gao Taomo" "Heavenly workers replace it" and "Yi·Xici" "opening things to make things happen".The whole book is divided into "Nai Li" (grain), "Nai Fu" (textile), "Zhang Shi" (dyeing), and "Essence" (grain processing) , "Make Salt" (salt making), "Ganxin" (sugar), "Ointment" (cooking oil), "Taoyu" (ceramic), "Smelting and Casting", "Zhuche", "Hammer Forging", "Burning" "Stone" (coal and stone firing), "Shuqing" (papermaking), "hardware", "Jiabing" (weapons), "Danqing" (mineral pigments), "Song Tiller" (distiller's yeast) and "Pearl and Jade".

Among them, the "Machinery" chapter describes in detail agricultural machinery and tools including vertical shaft windmills, sugar carts, brine extraction by ox-turning rope wheels, etc., which has extremely high scientific value.

This book should have concentrated the most comprehensive works on chemistry, physics, agronomy, craftsmanship and other scientific theories in China at that time.

Historically, next year his friend Tu Shaoying paid for his publication of Tiangong Kaiwu.

Tu Shaoying was a native of Xinjian, Jiangxi Province. He was the governor of Xinjian at that time. Because of his mother's death, Ding You was at home.

In December of the ninth year of Chongzhen, Song Yingxing completed the creation of Tiangong, wanted to publish but had no money, and was not in a good mood.

After much deliberation, he decided to show this set of books to his proud student Li Chang'an to read and learn from.

Li Changan is a boy, only 14 years old this year.

In the eighth year of Chongzhen reign, Song Yingxing encountered robbers on his way to Fenyi County, and was rescued by Li Chang'an's father. Li's father was seriously injured and died.

He took him with him, and usually imparted his knowledge and taught him how to learn characters. Li Changan learned quickly and was very obedient.

When Song Yingxing was teaching the students, none of the students liked to listen to these classes, and they all wanted to read the books of sages.

Now that Song Yingxing suddenly meets someone who likes these kinds of miscellaneous studies, of course he sees it as his own.

Moreover, he knew that Li Chang'an's family had fled from the north. In order to escape the war, it was very pitiful. There was only one uncle alive in the family. The uncle was doing business abroad all the year round. Last year, he came to visit Li Chang'an and gave Song Yingxing 20 taels of silver.

Song Yingxing treated him like a son, and taught him all he had learned in his life.

Song Yingxing went home that day, and bought half a catty of wine on the way. He wanted to go home and have a drink with Li Changan to celebrate his creation of a work of nature.

As soon as I arrived at the door of the house, I saw someone outside the door with a few books and a bag of rice in his hand.

It was Li Changan's uncle Li Chao.

"Li Chao." Song Yingxing said happily.

Li Chao turned his head and laughed: "Mr. Song, what a coincidence, I just arrived too."

Li Chao brought ten catties of polished rice, two catties of pork, and two books, all of which Song Yingxing liked and was willing to accept.

The last time he was given 20 taels of silver, Song Yingxing pushed for a long time, and finally Li Chao dropped it and left.

The three of them got some wine that night, and they had a very happy conversation before, but after talking about it, Li Chao's tone suddenly changed.

Said that he had found a place, was going to settle down, and was going to take Li Changan away.

Song Yingxing's face suddenly changed, and he couldn't believe it.

He had been with Li Chang'an for two years, and they loved each other like a father and son. He even passed on what he had learned all his life, and regarded him as his only heir. He didn't expect to leave suddenly.

You must know that his miscellaneous studies are very unpopular in this era, and no one in the county is willing to learn.

Only Li Changan is so serious.

"This - this - so sudden?" Song Yingxing almost burst into tears.

"Chang'an doesn't want to either, I really don't want to, I really don't want to—Mr. Leaving." Li Changan fell to the ground and cried, tears streaming down like rain.

Song Yingxing cried and helped him up. Chang'an had no relatives, so it was only natural to be with the only relatives. However, this time we parted, I don't know when we will see each other again.

"Uncle, I want to learn Mr.'s class, can you let me study for a few more years, I really don't want to leave." Li Changan cried.

Li Chao sighed, I am helpless, but I have already promised others to take you there. There are in-laws you made in childhood over there, a manly man, you must do what you say, how can you break your promise.

Song Yingxing nodded as expected, a person cannot stand without faith, and he should keep his promise.

Li Chang'an said, without the teacher's teaching in the future, it will be like a pearl covered in dust, and there will be no lights in the dark night, and the students will no longer be able to see the direction.

Song Yingxing thought about it carefully, and solemnly went to the house, and took out the newly completed set of Tiangong Kaiwu.

He decided to pass on this set of newly published masterpieces to Li Chang'an, and told him to study hard, apply what he learned in the future, and carry it forward.

Li Chao said on the spot: "Mr.'s strange learning will surely last forever and be famous all over the world. I promise you that I will pay for it to be published and spread to the world."

Scholars who don't want to publish books by themselves will be famous forever, Song Yingxing is of course very happy to hear that.

He was worried that he had no money to publish it.

Immediately, he passed the starting work to Li Changan.

The next day, Li Changan cried goodbye to him and left with his uncle.

Not long after the two left, Li Changan cried, Mr. Song is a good official, why didn't he take him to Lushun?

Lu Chao thought for a while and said, "Some good officials can only be used by Daming, and some corrupt officials can be used by Master Ding instead."

"You are still young, one day, you will understand."

"Don't worry, he can't be used by Mr. Ding now, and he will definitely have a chance in the future."

Li Changan wept bitterly, kowtowed several times in Song Yingxing's direction, and then wept goodbye.

Lu Chao took him all the way back to Dengzhou, and arranged for Li Changan to return to Lushun. Ding Yi got the treasures of Tiangong Kaiwu, and immediately asked Lushun's primary schools, middle schools and universities to study these books and choose suitable ones as school topics.

And Lu Chao was busy with travel and dust, and rushed from Dengzhou to the capital.

At that time, the heads of the intelligence department of the capital were Yang Yong and Ding Shitou.

After the egg case in the sixth year of Chongzhen, they were all transferred away. Now one of the two is in Lushun and the other is in Hong Xujun.

There are three strongholds of the Intelligence Department staying in the capital, one of which is Fang Junshan, Song Xiaomei and his wife.

Both of them are old comrades from Xu Dabao. Fang Junshan is over 40 years old, and Song Xiaomei is also nearly [-] years old. The son Fang Xinghan was named by Ding Yi, and now he is the leader of Ding Yi's side.

The husband and wife opened a rice shop in the capital, mainly selling rice.

In August of this year, the Qing soldiers entered the pass, and a large number of refugees fled to the capital. In December, the capital suddenly fell heavy snow, and the temperature dropped sharply.

Even if many refugees do not freeze to death, they have no food to eat and will starve to death.

The day before yesterday, a young girl brought her younger siblings to Fang Junshan's couple's shop. The young girl was about fourteen or fifteen years old, the eldest and the second child, and there was a third brother and a fourth younger sister, all about seven or eight years old.

The two brothers and sisters knelt in front of the store, begging Fang Junshan for some food and rice to save their family's life.

The shop assistants all sympathized and looked at Fang Junshan.

But Fang Junshan didn't dare to move, because there were countless refugees in the capital, and many people were watching outside the door. As long as he dared to move and agreed, a large number of refugees would immediately crowd over.

In his line of work, the most important thing is to keep a low profile and never attract attention.

He made up his mind to close the shop, and the refugees around him scolded him, unscrupulous merchants.

After the four siblings left crying, not long after, someone followed them quietly.
