Chapter 755 The Difference Between Buddha and Demon

Chapter 755 The Difference Between Buddha and Demon
This is what I heard: If you purify your original mind, make the six consciousnesses go out of the six doors, and be in the six dusts, untainted and unmixed, come and go freely, and universal without stagnation, that is Prajna Samadhi, free liberation, free contemplation, seeing the Tathagata, everything From the heart, be free.

That is to teach all sentient beings to practice the holy path, to get rid of delusional thoughts, to realize the Tathagata's immeasurable wisdom, and to benefit all sentient beings. This is the tenth sign of the Tathagata's mind, and all Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas should know this.

These are the original words of Buddha.

Because the four words "I heard it like this" refer to what I heard under the seat of the World Honored Tathagata, and can only be used in this situation. This is what Shariputra clearly stated to Li Qi that he heard it in front of the Buddha. These words.

The meaning of this sentence is that although "I am the only one in heaven and earth", in fact, everything comes from the heart, which does not mean that the heart comes from everything. The so-called freedom of the "heart" has limits.

The boundary of the heart is the boundary of freedom, and the boundary of freedom is determined by wisdom.

'The Tathagata in the heart' is not the only subjectivity, but its own subjectivity.

In other words, my subjectivity is not 'the devil', but 'myself'

This is a very smooth logic.

If everything is truly free, and the 'heart', that is, self-awareness, is the greatest and most extreme form of freedom, then...how was the demon sealed?
Therefore, the freedom of the devil is actually a freedom that requires the devil to use wisdom to mediate.

Even if it is the 'sum of all reality' and the 'end of all dharmas', the Demon believes that he is everything and everything is a part of him, but the boundary of his freedom is still his own 'wisdom'.

The demon wants to pursue absolute freedom and become perfect in everything, so... the demon has achieved absolute unfreedom.

The demons who appear to be free and the demons who appear to be 'all from the heart', because of this point clarified by the Buddha, lead to the absolute distinction between Buddha and demons.

If it is muddy, how can it be so turbid that it can be calm and clear?Who can keep Xu Sheng alive for a long time? Those who protect this way do not want to be full, but they are not full, so how can they hide the new achievements?

The meaning of this sentence is that chaos is like filthy water. Who can make the turbidity calm down and slowly clarify it?Who can make silence change and slowly show vitality?
Nobody can.

The world is chaotic and everything is changing.

Therefore, "Tao" will never be complacent. Precisely because "Tao" is never complacent, it can renew itself, maintain progress, and constantly innovate new realities.

This is freedom, a world driven by 'Tao'. Only in such a changing world can we have the motivation for progress. Only when we are satisfied with wisdom itself can we do all kinds of things and accomplish things that were once impossible.

Therefore, Buddhism has chosen to teach all living beings to learn to think, learn to use wisdom to seek their true heart, and ultimately gain wisdom and freedom.

This is the difference between Buddha and demon. This is the definition of freedom.

The Buddha calmly admitted the boundaries of 'freedom' and the limitations of the 'mind'. The Buddha was not as greedy as the devil. He did not regard himself as the 'ultimate' and did not want everything. Instead, he gained freedom because of it.

The devil has expanded the 'heart' to the boundary of everything, making the 'heart' the cause of everything and the foundation of everything, but because of this, it has bound his heart to 'everything'.

Since 'heart' is 'everything', then 'heart' is bound to 'everything'. Above everything, there is nothing.

But the Buddha completely lifted the shackles of the mind. The freedom of the Buddha is the freedom that comes after people reach great wisdom after enlightenment and are freed from all causes of suffering.

This alone is enough to explain how Buddha suppressed the demons.

Yes, Buddha is a demon.

Because... Buddha is the mind, and demons are also the mind. At this point, the two are equivalent.

But through the Buddha's dexterity, there is a difference between the 'Buddha's heart' and the 'devil's heart'. The Buddha's heart that everyone has is separated from the only devil's heart that exists in all things.

The unity of Buddha and demon does not seem so difficult to understand.

He who is forever free from delusional thoughts and attachments, and sees the Tathagata and his vast wisdom within his own body, is called a Buddha.

Demons are the ultimate delusion, the ultimate persistence, the delusion that one's own mind is all reality, and the persistence to achieve perfection beyond perfection. Only by giving up such attachment, clarifying confusion, and putting aside anger and delusion can one become a Buddha.

The nature of the law is boundless, how can it be measured by the heart?
The truth is not the appearance, and it is explained by false words. Therefore, all living beings are vast and infinite, and how far is the vast sea of Dharma?
What the devil said is like looking for a shape in a mirror, understanding the Dharma has no birth, and transcending it with a single thought, how can you comment on the complex theory.

This is Prajna Paramita, that is, the wisdom of the other shore, or the ultimate wisdom.

There is a true scripture in Buddhism called "Prajnaparamita Heart Sutra", so I think it is like this.

Of course, the devil is sure that he does not agree with this conclusion, but as long as this conclusion makes sense, it can prove the difference between Buddha and devil.

After the Buddha looked at it and explained it like this, Li Qi suddenly felt... that the devil seemed a little pitiful.

That's why he couldn't help but praise the Buddha.

Is this the wisdom of Buddha?
Everything Shariputra explained was completely understood by Li Qi at this moment.

Seeing this, Shariputra made a seal with his hands, and a dharma image rose up from behind. His dharma image was not a human form, but a bodhi tree.

There are millions of leaves on the bodhi tree, which are blown by the breeze. The wind blows the branches and leaves, producing countless wonderful sounds. The sound spreads, clear, clear, bright, subtle and elegant.

Looking at the leaves, there are hundreds of thousands of Buddhist kingdoms, each chanting merits and praising Shariputra.

Li Qi saw the bodhi tree, heard its sound, smelled its fragrance, and touched its light and shadow. He immediately felt that his six sense organs were clear and clear, free from all troubles and troubles.

Seeing the relieved expression on Li Qi's face, Shariputra smiled slightly, and then said again: "The donor listens to my words and must eradicate all unwholesome dharma and achieve all good dharma. Because of the solemnity of the divine feet, the body will always be light, peaceful and happy. Because of the solemnity of the five sense organs, With deep faith and firmness, diligent and unremitting efforts, always without confusion, calm and attuned, cutting off all troubles, with the solemn strength, all resentments are wiped out, with no ability to destroy, with the solemn enlightenment factor, always be good at understanding all dharmas. With the solemnity of the right path, you can obtain the right wisdom. Always present."

"The ocean can be measured, and the abyss can be exhausted. All sentient beings should sincerely seek the truth, and if they keep working hard, they will overcome the consequences. Why not? You should think about it for yourself, and you should know that the pure Dharma should be taken care of by yourself."

These words made Li Qi's eyes that had been closed open again.

Quiet method!
He knows that the Buddha's method of suppressing demons in the formless world is the method of purity!
But now, what the other party said is the focus of the purification method.

Li Qi immediately sat down and listened carefully to the true meaning of Tao.

Because these words are just 'principles', and if you know the principles and want the Dharma, you need to watch the performance. This is the reason why Shariputra showed the Dharma.

Li Qi observed the Dharma, and the subtle magic began to operate.

At the same time, these spells began to form a magic field.

Shariputra clasped his hands together, and suddenly, many ghosts appeared in front of him.

There are resentful spirits and vicious ghosts. There are no accidents. They all died accidentally.

These ghosts are causally related to Li Qi and Shariputra. In fact... they were killed by Li Qi.

Li Qi attacked the demon before, but he directly crushed a world in the world ring, and all the living creatures in this world were annihilated.

Because of this, most of these ghosts died with ugly appearances. Some were swollen like steamed buns, some were blown up beyond recognition by unknown objects, or their bodies were mutilated, or they were covered in blood. Anyway, none of them had their remains properly cured.

Now these evil spirits have been summoned, and overwhelming resentment is coming.Li Qi seemed unaware. After all, for him, the grievances of these evil ghosts could be extinguished at the snap of a finger. Even these evil ghosts could not approach him. It was just the 'natural law' that circulated around him. It's enough to annihilate everything.

However, when facing Shariputra, he saw many resentful spirits and evil ghosts, but no resentment or evil spirit.

Because Shariputra is sitting here in front of him, and behind him stands a Bodhi tree made of seven treasures, with flowers and leaves of all seven treasures.

Coral, amber and other seven treasures are used as reflections, and wonderful flowers grow among the leaves. The flowers and leaves are each of a thousand colors, and the veins seem to have hundreds of paintings, like heavenly pearls.

There are many wonderful flowers, made of the golden color of Jambudvipa, like spinning fire wheels, with great light. The wonderful flowers turn into banners and canopies of immeasurable treasures. The flowers bear fruit, and the fruits are the Buddha lands of the ten directions, and all the Buddha's deeds also appear in them.

Following Shariputra's performance, a lotus flower appeared out of thin air in the sky, with its twelve-petal leaves reunited. Flowers fell from the sky, playing the sound of the Dharma, and its sound was subtle, describing the perfections of suffering, emptiness, impermanence, and selflessness.

Each of these small flowers has a golden color and emits subtle light. Each leaf of the lotus flower is like a small boat, with eighty-four thousand veins, just like a celestial painting. Each vein has eighty-four thousand lights, which are clear and clear, so that they can all be seen.

The lotus flower turns around, and there is a Bodhisattva who expounds wonderful Dharma to save suffering sentient beings.

Countless ghosts are among them, sitting on the boat one after another, devoutly paying homage to the treasure. Their bodies are like the golden color of Jambudvipa sandalwood. Sitting in the boat, when they see the image sitting there, their minds are opened and they understand clearly.

Countless small boats transformed from smallpox, carrying countless resentful spirits, sailed towards the Buddhist heavens.

Yes, salvation does not mean going to reincarnation, but directly ascending to the heavens and becoming the "human beings" of Buddhism, enjoying many blessings, but... after that, the heavens and humans will also reincarnate. After the five declines of the heavens and humans, they will It depends on fate.

But it was already a huge benefit, and this was Shariputra's compensation for them.

As for the price they have to pay for becoming heavenly beings before they have accomplished their Dharma, it is naturally borne by Sariputra, the one who has saved them.

The ghosts raised their hands one after another and rode on the smallpox boats falling from the sky to be reborn in the paradise world. However, when they saw the Bodhi tree continuing to radiate its brilliance, the ghosts praised the Four Noble Truths, the Three Brightnesses and the Six Paths, and how hundreds of millions of resentful spirits were possessed. Eight liberations.

"I sincerely request Namo's Great Merciful and Great Compassionate Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva to protect him with compassion." Shariputra said as he pinched the Dharma in his hand.

Shariputra is saving the many evil spirits that were born due to the sins Li Qi committed for himself.

However, to a witch, what is killing?
Nature flows according to its own rules, and there is no such thing as killing. Life and death are just a part of the operation of nature, a strategy implemented by the 'perfect' reality.

So for Wu Jin, no matter how many people he killed, he wouldn't feel anything. Li Qi didn't do it just because he didn't like it.

If you have some 'like' witches...

It can only be said that Wu Jin's reputation is not very good to begin with...

You know, in many ways, witches and ghosts are synonymous with weirdness and horror. If witches and ghosts are all good people... then why is there such a stereotype?
The two parents-in-law, Li Qi and Shen Shuibi, are both typical neither good nor evil. Whether they are saving people or killing people, they do not blink an eye. Killing is no pressure for them. Shen Shuibi also did it during the war between humans and witches. Such a thing as killing the world.

Killing people and rescuing people are the same to them. They are purely out of their own minds. It depends on whether they want to do it or not, and whether they need to do it or not.

But this is not the case for Sariputta.

Through the process of explaining the truth to Li Qi, he began to save the souls of the dead together.

Li Qi also knew that he was doing this for himself.

But he wasn't prepared to pay any attention.

It’s meaningless, why bother? Those innocent souls? He had already been saved, and he had no other choice at the time. Shariputra didn't expect that he would feel guilty, right?
Li Qi's life is full of regrets. As long as he makes up his mind, he will have no regrets and naturally no guilt.

However, at this time.

Li Qi and Shariputra both suddenly raised their heads, Shariputra stopped chanting sutras, and Li Qi also stood up respectfully immediately.

Because both of them saw, following Shariputra's salvation mantra, a bhikkhu, holding a jewel in his left hand and a tin staff in his right hand, stood on a thousand-leaf green lotus and swayed towards their position.

The opponent should not be the true body, but the projected Dharmakaya, which was summoned by the incantation recited by Shariputra before.

This image is so classic that there is no mistaking it.

Both of them immediately put away their magic formulas and folded their hands. Even Li Qi began to perform Buddhist rituals and shouted respectfully: "Welcome Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva..."

Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

When Li Qi saw this famous Bodhisattva, he thought that his eyes had been opened this time, and he actually saw this big shot.

If Shariputra hadn't recited the Ksitigarbha Sutra in person, Li Qi didn't know when he would be able to see him.

Therefore, by calling the Buddha's name, you can eliminate the sins of eight billion kalpas of life and death in your thoughts.

At the end of his life, he saw golden lotus flowers like a sun wheel standing in front of him.

After hearing what the Buddha said, you will immediately see the appearance of the Land of Ultimate Bliss.

With such a sincere heart, the sound will not cease, and with ten thoughts, he will be called the Great Merciful and Great Compassionate Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva.

The person in front of me is the legendary Ksitigarbha, the top existence among the second rank, Maha Bodhisattva, who can even stand side by side with the Buddha, and is only one step away from the status of 'Buddha'.

It’s just that you can’t take this step no matter what, and you can’t become a Buddha no matter what.

Because everyone knows that Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva once made a great wish: "I will never become a Buddha until hell is empty."

This great wish achieved his Bodhisattva status, but it prevented him from continuing to become a Buddha. If he did not cross the empty hell, it would be absolutely impossible for him to achieve the final status.

In fact, great wishes have no binding force. What truly binds Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is his Taoist mind.

Crossing the hell, this is what his Taoist heart wants. In fact, great aspirations will not bring power, nor will they bring constraints. If you deny the great aspirations in your Taoist heart, nothing will happen.

This may be regarded as an obsession...or, in other words, a demonic thought.

Only by seeing through this last obsession, or realizing this ambition, will he complete the last brick on his journey to the first rank.

Li Qi looked at Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. He had already heard about the other person's experience and had thought about visiting him several times.

Nothing else. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva is real. He can achieve the first level anytime and anywhere. He can become a Buddha instantly with just one thought.

But his Taoist heart restrained himself, preventing him from raising this idea.

What kind of wonderful state is this?
