I want to be a grandson

Chapter 331 If there is something in the heart, there is dust

Chapter 331 If there is something in the heart, there is dust

"Boom! Boom! Boom!..."

"Boom! Boom! Boom!..."

Under the impact of the monk, the bells of Dabaoen Temple rang regularly and heavily.

The bell resounded over the Baoen Temple, straight up to the sky,

It seemed that the sound of the bell contained great power, and even the dark clouds in the sky could be shaken away, revealing a clear blue sky.

The sound of the bell also spread far away, seeming to cleanse people's hearts.

Whenever a major event occurs, as long as it is not confidential, the government will inform the temple in advance, let them chant scriptures and pray, and ring the bell to congratulate.

In the main hall of Baoen Temple, dozens of monks sat on futons and chanted sutras in unison.

And in a meditation room in the backyard, I saw a monk sitting cross-legged on the futon, twirling Buddhist beads in his hands, and chanting words in his mouth.

He is the only one in this meditation room, there is not even a chair and tea set, and the walls are even more bare.

The entire meditation room, as well as the monks chanting scriptures in it, seemed quite deserted.

With a sound of "squeak", the door of the meditation room was pushed open, and a figure walked in.

The monk who was chanting frowned slightly, and said softly: "The poor monk is chanting, please do not disturb."

But the low footsteps didn't leave, but got closer and closer, which made the monk frown even tighter.

The person who came was Yao Guangxiao, a monk in black. He walked up to the monk and sat on the futon opposite him.

Also sit cross-legged, put your hands together, and then gently twist the beads in your hands.

At this time, the monk who was chanting opened his eyes and saw an old monk in his fifties sitting opposite him. Although he didn't know who he was, he still folded his hands together, nodded slightly and said,
"It is inconvenient to disturb you when you are practicing and chanting. If the master wants to chant, go elsewhere."

Yao Guangxiao said: "There is no tree for Bodhi, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing in the first place. Where can the dust be gathered?"

This is from the "Tan Sutra".

It is said that Hongren, the fifth patriarch of Zen Buddhism, was old and wanted to pass on the mantle to his disciple Shenxiu, so he asked him to compose gatha ("song" in Sanskrit, that is, the libretto in Buddhist scriptures) to test his understanding of Zen teachings.

Shenxiu thought for a long time before stammering out the words: "The body is like a bodhi tree, and the heart is like a mirror stand. Always wipe it diligently so as not to stir up dust."

After hearing this, Hongren frowned tightly, always feeling almost meaningless and not satisfied.

Later, a little monk named Huineng (also known as "Huineng") who didn't recognize big characters and could only carry water and chop firewood blurted out.

Huineng inherited Dongshan Dharma and established Nanzong, becoming the sixth patriarch of Zen.

Yao Guangxiao said: "Master Shenxiu said that the heart is like a bright mirror, and it needs to be wiped frequently to keep it free from dust."

"However, Master Huineng said that bodhi is not a tree, and a bright mirror is not a stand. These things do not exist at all, and they will not be contaminated by dust at all."

"Which of the two of them do you think is right?"

And sitting opposite Yao Guangxiao, the monk wearing cassock is Zhu Yunwen.

He clasped his hands together and replied, "The two masters are eminent monks, please forgive me for being difficult to judge."

Yao Guangxiao didn't care, and continued: "Master Shenxiu has something in his eyes and heart, so he said that he should wipe it frequently so as not to be contaminated with dust; but Master Huineng has nothing in his eyes, and has nothing in his heart, so there is no place for dust to be contaminated. Needs to be wiped down..."

"However, the poor monk feels that Master Huineng's words are a bit biased..."

Zhu Yunwen couldn't help asking after hearing the words: "Oh, I ask the master to clarify my doubts."

Yao Guangxiao twirled the Buddha beads in his hand and said: "If you have nothing in your heart, then you shouldn't practice in the temple, and you shouldn't get rid of anger, ignorance and desire. Since there is no desire to devour, no killing, lying, and lust, and Why practice precepts?"

"It is precisely because of these things in people's hearts that there are the Eight Precepts of Buddhism."

The eight precepts are the requirements in Buddhism, including: one abstain from killing, two abstain from stealing, three abstain from adultery, four abstain from lying, five abstain from drinking alcohol,

The sixth commandment is to wear incense (that is, not to wear garlands or apply incense), the seventh commandment is to sit and lie on a high and wide bed, and the eighth commandment is to eat out of time (that is, not to eat after noon).

In the Southern Dynasties, Liang Bao sang "The Biography of Bhikkhuni. Dao Rong": "The emperor sent an envoy to Wujiang to meet Dao Rong and visit him with his affairs. Rong said: 'Only after seven days of fasting in Qing Dynasty and observing the eight precepts, the ears should disappear.'"

"Master's advice, Xiaosheng has been taught."

Yao Guangxiao stared at him and asked, "I wonder if there is something in your heart or nothing?"

Zhu Yunqi thought for a while, but did not answer directly, but asked: "Since the master feels that there is something in people, how can I get rid of it?"

Yao Guangxiao said: "Everyone has a different degree in front of the Buddha, and all the things in their hearts are also different. Some people need to quit adultery, some people need to quit stealing,
There are still people who need to quit killing. Although each person has different methods of quitting, the poor monk feels that he cannot quit by simply chanting sutras and paying respects to the Buddha. "

"The anger and hatred in people will never be eliminated automatically. The so-called forgetting everything and seeing everything is nothing but evasion and self-deception!"

Zhu Yunwen took a deep breath, "Then according to what the master said, Buddhism cannot be dissolved, nor can it be forgotten, so what should we do?"

Yao Guangxiao said with deep meaning: "It is better to be blocked than to be sparse. When rivers are flowing, blocking them will lead to disasters. Only by dredging can we be safe."

After a busy day, Zhu Yunxi, who returned to the East Palace, seemed to be falling apart, especially tired.

After a canonization ceremony is completed, it is necessary to bow and kowtow unceasingly. I don't know how many times these actions have to be repeated.

And you need to wear a heavy dress and a crown on your head.

Lying on the rocking chair, I just relax and feel extremely comfortable.

"Congratulations, Your Highness! Congratulations, Your Highness! Today is such a happy day!" Wang Zhong beside him smiled like a flower with excitement.

Li Fu also congratulated and said: "Congratulations, Your Highness, from today onwards you will be the Crown Prince of Ming Dynasty, congratulations to Your Highness!"

"Servant congratulates Your Highness!"

In this room, there are Su Xin from the Bureau of Dianfu, Ma He and court lady Zhao Mingzhu, all three of them congratulated in unison.

Zhu Yunxi smiled comfortably, "Congratulations, I became the crown prince, and it is also a happy event for you, let's celebrate together."

It is an eternal truth that one person attains the Tao, and the chicken and dog ascend to heaven.

Zhu Yunxie was established as the crown prince and spread the word to the world, then the people around him will follow suit!

The seventh-rank officials in front of the prime minister, the people around the prince are even more precious!

Wang Zhong said with a smile: "Your Highness, the slaves and maidservants also followed His Highness. Today is such an important day, there should be rewards, right?"

Zhu Yunxi immediately said vigilantly: "No! If you follow me to get rich, you should give me some filial piety. Why do you still ask me for a reward? It is completely unreasonable!"

Wang Zhong suddenly had a bitter face, "Your Highness, you are the master of slaves, you think we should be the ones, but you have no reason to tell us..."

Li Fu said with a smile on the side: "Indeed, Wang Zhong is usually out of tune, and his words are erratic, but what he said today is very reasonable. His Highness really deserves a reward!"

Wang Zhong immediately rolled his eyes at him, this old guy is really shameful!

"During the Chinese New Year, you have been rewarded a lot, how can you still ask for business? If you reward me again, you will have to drink the northwest wind!"

But how could a few people be sympathetic, and they asked for rewards one after another, each saying their own reasons.

In the end, Zhu Yunxi had no choice but to pretend to be distressed, and said, "That's fine! Since you all said it, then...reward! But next time you can't ask for it again!"

"Thank you, Your Highness, for the reward!"

Several people were also happy.

The atmosphere in the East Palace is always extremely harmonious and full of joy.

Although you can't mess up your dignity, but when it's time to be happy, you have to relax.

After collecting the rewards, there was another congratulation, and everyone knew that His Highness was tired, so they withdrew.

Zhao Mingzhu still thoughtfully poured a basin of hot water, removed his shoes and socks, soaked and kneaded his feet in the hot water...

The warm comfort from the feet makes the whole body and mind feel very comfortable.

Although Zhu Yuanzhang had already issued an edict to canonize himself as the grandson of the emperor, the feeling at that time was completely different from today's canonization ceremony.

It's like two people who love each other go to the Civil Affairs Bureau to get a certificate, and hold a grand wedding, will it feel the same?

Although the facts are the same, the feeling is quite different.

And in the concept of many people, they feel that they are really married after a grand wedding.

Zhu Yunxi understands that this is just the beginning!
There are still many crises waiting for me in the future!

Stronger than Zhu Yuanzhang, he can only choose to compromise on many things, and he cannot do whatever he wants.

Therefore, being an emperor, even an emperor with great power, often has helplessness.

Hello, the road is long and long, I will search up and down!
Now my life should be saved,

As long as you don't try to kill yourself, unlike Emperor Jianwen in history, where all kinds of tricks emerged one after another, your life should be fine.

However, you must not live a useless life!

When the dynasty changes, it is also the time when turmoil is most likely to occur.

After the king comes to power, he will be subject to restrictions from all sides, so some things have to be compromised.

For Zhu Yunxi, to live a new life, if he still makes various compromises and is bullied in various ways,

That would be so useless!

Zhu Yunxi understood that he had to take all the political power into his own hands while Zhu Yuanzhang was still alive!

Only in this way can we be safe!
Now Zhu Yuanzhang has almost no defense against himself as the prince, and he will definitely train him to let himself hold the real power.

First of all, this is due to Zhu Yuanzhang's character. He established the crown prince and established the heir, and there were no such bullshit plots and tricks.

The second reason is that Zhu Yuanzhang is indeed numbered. In history, he died in the 31st year of Hongwu, which means there are still four or five years left.

Besides, for the elderly in this era, it is really uncertain when they will die.

A cold and a cold, being unable to catch one’s breath, or catching a cold at night, may kill you!

So Zhu Yuanzhang will only cultivate himself vigorously at this time, and will not hold back at all!

That being the case, then I can let go and do whatever I want!
