Why so far, but chapters?

The purpose of running the school is still the practice of the six virtues and the six practices, all of which are included in the six arts.

Through early childhood education, children were taught the revised Three Character Classic, and under the premise that the upper-level construction could not be solved for the time being, they forcibly instilled in the children the concept of "learning skills and learning practically, this is the right way".

But in fact, what destroyed them in Dashun at this time was precisely their philosophy of emphasizing practical learning.

Because the typical example of Liu Yu proves Zhang Boxing's inference: those who don't study the classics and don't straighten their hearts, no matter how much they learn the six arts skills, they can't comprehend the way of sages from the skills.

Even if the Six Arts are narrowly defined, Liu Yu has fought wars, planted cotton, and done mathematics, at least three of the Six Arts?Then why didn't he understand the way of a saint?You school can never say that he is a Confucian scholar, right?
Originally, Zhang Boxing's deduction was just a mouthful.After all, one cannot say that people like Yan Yuan and Li Wei are not Confucian scholars, right?Although they are a bit heretical, no matter it is the classics or classics, they are always worthy of the title of great Confucianism.

Similar to Wang Anshi, although in the eyes of the Great Confucianism, he took the wrong path, but he can't be expelled from Confucianism, right?

In the past, the Yan-Li School could say, look, those of our school are following the path of the six arts and practicing Congsheng. Those of us from the Real School have proved that our thinking is correct.

Now Yan Li school is more uncomfortable.

The first department of new studies, a group of students who study agriculture, arithmetic, gun shooting, cannon firing, navigation, and astronomy.However, the problem is that this group of practical learners did not become enlightened from the Six Arts.

This is obvious.

According to Yan Yuan, those who are proficient in one of the six arts are considered Confucian scholars; those who read the scriptures are not worthy of being called Confucian scholars at all, but are just literati.

That's all right.

Those who learn arithmetic and fire cannons are very good at one of the six arts, and those who can't recite the Analects of Confucius can only recite excerpts.Are they Confucian scholars?

And those who can recite the Analects of Confucius and Mencius are not Confucian scholars, but literati?

Does this make sense?

What is a Confucian scholar, is it your definition?Are you Confucius, or Mencius, or Zhu Zi?What are you?

Those of us who co-authored and recited classics since childhood are not even Confucian scholars?
On the contrary, those classics can't memorize a few words, and the words are geometric, so they have become Confucian scholars?

This is the "orthodox" dispute.

Or a battle for the right to speak.

If the Yan-Li School is orthodox, they can naturally define what is considered a Confucian scholar, and what is not a Confucian scholar is just a literati.

But the problem is they are not orthodox.

The orthodox learning established by Dashun officials also has a big problem, that is, it has never been able to complete the closed loop within the framework of Confucianism and is not systematic.

In fact, there is basically no real orthodox learning in Dashun.

Moreover, Zhu Xi's original assertion was true.If you do things and study them, you will end up making things difficult for yourself.

In the end, Ye Shi chose "physical reality", and he wanted to restrain himself and return to the ritual, and put the system first. Even if it was done like this, it still couldn't be closed.

Not to mention the plethora of problems now.

The rise of textual research has triggered a wave of textual research, a pile of fake books, so that a lot of knowledge can only be established today, and tomorrow it will be criticized as something derived from fake books, heresy.

Dashun's own "innuendo" Guan Zhong's problem of prominent learning has already caused a storm.

Now the Yan-Li School does not talk about Guan Zhongren's inhumanity, but directly recognizes Liu Yu as "although he is far from being a great sage who understands Confucianism, he is still a second-class Confucian scholar, or a sergeant."

And when Liu Yu and others were about to leave Jiangsu, and the emperor was about to make his last southern tour to reformed Jiangsu, and brought Liu Yu and others back to the capital by the way, it was inevitable that something would happen.

The current predicament of their school is really too big.

Think too much.

There are too many things to solve.

But within the stereotype, there is actually no solution.

Even the set of things they proposed by themselves was completely unjustifiable by Liu Yu, a group of new learners and practical learners-a group of people with six skills, who didn't even have the qualifications for the imperial examination, and were purely marginalized people in society.Either in the factory, or in the colony, or in the army, or in the farmland, there is really no sign that they have acquired the sage's learning from the practice of the six arts.
