Unparalleled Double Harmony

Chapter 299 Two things

Chapter 299 Three Things

The matter of Sun Yixie and Murong Ji has come to an end here.

How Mr. Murong left Hangzhou in such a disgraceful manner, and how the relationship he formed with Brother Sun will affect in the future, we will explain this later in the document.

Right now, let's look back at Huang Donglai's situation.

Some people may still remember that Huang Donglai was punished by the head of the sect to do "three things", the first of which was to face the wall in the "Wuxiang Cave" in the back mountain of Xuanqizong for 49 days.

Now it is mid-May in the blink of an eye, and his days on the wall are almost coming to an end.

So what did he do during these 49 days?

Damn, let’s practice, what else can we do?
This "No-Phase Cave" was originally one of the places to practice in closed doors.

What is formless?

There are three volumes of "Nanben Daparinirvana Sutra" No. 20: there are ten phases without phases, so-called phases of form, phase of sound, phase of fragrance, phase of taste, phase of touch, phase of birth, phase of residence, phase of extinction, and phase of male , female phase.

The second volume of No.20 says: If there are good men and good women who hear every single word of the Great Nirvana and don’t take pictures of words, pictures of sentences, pictures of hearing, pictures of Buddha, pictures of words, those who are righteous are called Wuxiang. , Because there is no form, you can get Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi.

What do these two paragraphs mean?

Let me translate it briefly. The first paragraph says that the so-called formless state refers to the five senses (i.e. color, sound, smell, taste, and five phases of touch) that humans use to perceive the three-dimensional world, as well as gender (i.e. the five phases of touch). male and female), and time dimension (the three phases of birth, residence, and death do not simply correspond to the future, present, and past; cycle of birth, old age, and death).

The second paragraph says: Men and women who believe in Buddhism, after listening to these words in my scriptures, if you really enlightened, then you can ignore all the things I can express in words. , Abandonment (this corresponds to the so-called "absoluteness of all appearances" in Buddhism), you who have realized this level, even if you have obtained "Anuttara-samyak-sambodhi", that is, supreme wisdom and enlightenment.

From the name of "Wuxiang", it can be known that Xuanqizong's Wuxiang Cave is a place of enlightenment that "will limit people's senses".

Of course, it's not as exaggerated as the "Cave of the Underworld" in "Shaman King", which restricts you to nothing, but you can still feel a little bit in the Wuxiang Cave.

Because Huang Donglai went to the alchemy room to receive "Guiyuanlu (as mentioned in the previous article, eating one can guarantee seven days without eating, drinking or sleeping, but the quantity is limited, and it is generally only distributed to retreat disciples)", so the 49 days The time is also easy to calculate. Every time he feels hungry and thirsty, it means seven days have arrived. By analogy, when he finishes eating the seven medicines he brought into the cave and feels hungry again, the wall will also it's over.

…………

call--

In the afternoon of this day, a ray of dazzling sunlight, accompanied by the sound of the stone door opening, broke into the quiet Wuxiang Cave.

Sitting cross-legged inside, Huang Donglai recovered from his meditation, looked back along the light, and saw a familiar figure.

"Master." Huang Donglai immediately stood up and bowed to Miao Yinzi.

"Come out, 49 days have come." Miao Yinzi replied to him.

"Yes." Huang Donglai's tone sounded calm, without the slightest sense of joy of regaining freedom, as if he hadn't completely escaped from that "trance" state.

After walking out of the cave, Huang Donglai found that Lin Yuancheng and Tyrell were also waiting outside the cave.

"Brother Huang, I've waited for you to come out." Lin Yuancheng's tone was filled with concern and joy, obviously he was also happy that Huang Donglai had finished facing the wall.

"Yo, Brother Huang, long time no see." Tyrell's Chinese is quite fluent now, but I don't know why there are more and more accents and strange mouth cravings.

"Eh? You guys are here too? How are you two these days?" When Huang Donglai spoke to these two, he finally recovered from the "retreat" state, and gradually regained his usual tone.

Unexpectedly, his question made the expressions of Xiao Lin and Tyrell a bit subtle.

"The head wants to see you, if you have anything to say, let's talk while walking." At this time, Miao Yinzi interjected at the right time, and beckoned them to follow.

When the three of them followed, Lin Yuancheng and Tyrell organized their language a little bit, and began to tell Huang Xudong what happened to them in the past 49 days.

Let's say that on the first day of April, Huang Donglai entered the Wuxiang Cave in the afternoon. After he entered, the veteran Taoists of Xuan Qizong began to "arrange" Lin Yuancheng and Tyrell.

Fudozi told Lin Yuancheng that it was not by accident that he came to the mountain today, but because of the fate of the Tao.

When Lin Yuancheng heard this, he thought that Fudoko was going to accept him as an apprentice, so he quickly expressed that he didn't want to be a Taoist priest.

Seeing that he had misunderstood, Fudoko explained that fate does not mean that he will accept you as an apprentice, it just means that you are destined to have some adventures here.

Then, Fudozi told Lin Yuancheng that there will be a "big catastrophe" in the martial arts in the future, and you are the key person in this catastrophe; this catastrophe is not only a crisis for the entire martial arts world, but also the most dangerous hurdle in your life Son, whether you can get over it depends on good luck, and it also depends on whether you can make good use of every "opportunity" you encounter.

Lin Yuancheng is a smart person, the point is here, can he not understand?

Therefore, he hurriedly thanked the Taoist priest and waited for the other party to give him "some advice".

Ladies and gentlemen, you know Xuan Qizong, who the hell will guide you?Kobayashi, you think too much!
Fudozi didn't bother to teach Lin Yuancheng anything, he just asked Miaoyinzi to go to the "martial arts" classification in the library and pick out a random book for Xiaolin to practice, which was considered as a "chance" for them.

As for what will be drawn, it depends on Xiao Lin's life.

Seeing this, some people may say, what else is there to smoke? This Xuanqi Sect's most introductory swordsmanship is also "Wangyun Sword". Bai Ruhong in the previous documents can be ranked as one of the golden beggars, silvermen, copper Confucians and iron monks in the rivers and lakes with this set of swordsmanship. Veteran Taoists Directly teach Xiaolin this, with his aptitude, he still can't go to heaven?

Then I have to remind you here, Bai Ruhong not only learned Wangyun Sword, he also learned Wuqi Kung Fu; without the blessing of Wuqi Kung Fu, a superior internal skill, he would only rely on a set of Wangyun Swordsmanship However, Bai Ruhong's martial arts could not reach today's height.

If we only talk about sword theory and moves, Lin Yuancheng's self-created "Lingyitan" is better than Wangyunjian, so teaching him this is actually not of much value, nor is it a chance.

To make a long story short, the martial arts that Miao Yinzi randomly picked up in the library and handed over to Lin Yuancheng was called "God's Deficiency".

At first glance, this name sounds like some kind of incomplete book, but it is not. This is a very complete sword manual with internal strength. The word "youque" in the name does not mean that the sword technique is incomplete. , but pointing to the origin of this sword technique.

Since the thing "Shen Ji" itself is a kind of superpower, not a kind of martial arts, so when someone created a martial art that simulated this ability, it was called "Shen Ji Wu Que".

This sword manual in Xuan Qizong is said to be left behind by a senior expert whose name is no longer known. As for how many years ago this senior came, and where he went, did he ascend etc., it is unknown.

In short, if this sword manual is in Lin Yuancheng's hands today, it means that fate has come, and if you give it, you will give it, and the old masters don't feel bad.

And Kobayashi hasn't done anything else for more than a month, and basically spends time in the book "God's Deficiency" of Sophora flavescens.

So how has he learned?
Let's put it this way... This martial art made Lin Yuancheng feel a deep sense of frustration.

In the past, Kobayashi almost always grew up relying on his talent.

The most profound martial art he has studied systematically is the Seven Star Swordsmanship taught to him by Fan Zhengting, and the foundation of internal strength is also inherent in this swordsmanship.

Perhaps for ordinary people, being able to learn this first-class swordsmanship with a set of second- and third-rate internal skills is enough to gain a foothold in the arena, but for people with talent like Lin Yuancheng, this is obviously not enough. To fill his talents.

So, he improved the Seven Star Sword, so... he created Ling Qitan himself.

As for the miscellaneous martial arts he learned in Xingyimen in Cangzhou later, they are even less worth mentioning, not as good as the Seven Star Sword.

To say that Lin Yuancheng has made the greatest progress in martial arts in this life, it must have been the eve of "Swords Fighting Demons", when he communicated and improved with other members of Four Swords and Three Swords, but after all, it was only a fragmented absorption of various martial arts knowledge , is not the same thing as "learning a set of things systematically".

Now, Lin Yuancheng, who has obtained "God is lacking", finally has the opportunity to learn a complete set of top-level martial arts.

And the senior master who created this sword manual is also very real, and the internal strength included in the sword manual is also super strong; after all, without strong internal force, it is impossible to imitate the destructive power of "God" with a sword.

But... this martial art is difficult to learn.

How hard is it?
Let's put it this way, the part of the inner strength that is lacking in spirit is more difficult than the non-extraordinary skill; and the part of swordsmanship, although the difficulty is similar to that of Lingtan, but because it was created by others, and the sword theory is completely different from Lingtan. There are two different directions, so it is very difficult for Lin Yuancheng to learn.

For the first time in his life, Xiao Lin felt that his martial arts talent was not enough.

Even though he can now recite the entire "God's Deficiency" verbatim and practice every day, his progress is very slow, and it can even be said that he is struggling.

The more Lin Yuancheng practiced his skills, the more he felt that he "can't use a sword anymore", and he was completely confused.

On the other hand, Tyrell's situation is similar to that of Kobayashi.

The old Taoists talked to him a lot with the help of spells that can communicate across languages, and told him that he would be a bridge between the Eastern and Western religions to "join forces to fight against demons" in the future, and fooled him into learning a lot. Of course, this matter It involves the story of Shuangxie's westward journey in the later article, so I don't need to go into details at this moment.

In short, although these two people didn't have to be imprisoned in the Wuxiang Cave like Huang Donglai, they were not idle during these 49 days.

…………

After an hour and a half, the three of them were almost done with each other's bitterness, and they arrived at their destination.

Today's Fudoko did not meet them while playing chess, but stood in the courtyard early to welcome their arrival.

"Coming." Fudoko greeted in the same casual way.

"Ah, I brought it." Miao Yinzi replied.

"That's all right, three, let's go without delay." Fudoko said this before Huang, Lin, and Tai could say hello.

"Huh? Let's go? Where are you going?" Huang Donglai asked suspiciously.

"Tsk." Fudoko curled his lips, "Go and kill those thirteen dead animals."

"This..." Huang Donglai was stunned for a moment, and then said, "Listen to this... you want to go with us, Sect Leader?"

"Isn't this nonsense?" Fudoko continued, "If I don't go, you can clean this ass by yourself?"

When Huang Donglai heard the words, he quickly thought about it and thought it was a good thing. With the head of the sect, wouldn't they be invincible?
But then he thought of something again, and said, "Eh? By the way, uncle, you said you would punish me for three things, so going down the mountain to eliminate demons is the second thing?"

"Forget it." Fudoko replied.

"Oh... the third thing, can you tell me now?" Huang Donglai asked.

"Yes." Fudoko continued, "I was going to tell you..." He paused, and then continued, "The third thing I will punish you is that you are not allowed to go on the way to get rid of demons." Use Taoism."
