On Wednesday night, I received a call from my dad, saying that he had called my mom for a specialist and diagnosed the early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease. I was so anxious that I didn’t sleep all night, and I booked a high-speed rail ticket to Beijing overnight.

It is too troublesome to see a doctor in Beijing. The MRI appointment on Wednesday cannot be done until ten o'clock on Saturday night.

During the period before the MRI, I took my mother to other outpatient clinics of the Aerospace Hospital, but it was all in vain, and no problems were found.

After the MRI on Saturday night, the doctor asked me to go to emergency, which shocked me a lot.

The previous doctor said that even if I was really sick, there would be no major problems in the short term, but the doctor who took the film told me to rush to emergency. I thought she saw something, so I started thinking about the worst.

After reading it, the emergency doctor said that it was just a mild cerebral infarction, not dementia at all. As for whether there are other symptoms, it is recommended to be hospitalized for a comprehensive examination, but there is no bed in the hospital yet, so let's go back and wait.

My dad and I breathed a sigh of relief when we found out. After all, we had prepared for the worst. As long as it is not Alzheimer’s, other symptoms are acceptable.

Since there were no beds in the hospital in Beijing, my dad and I were in a hurry to see a doctor for my mother, so I took my mother back to my hometown the next day and planned to have a check-up at the big hospital in my hometown.

The diagnosis results of my home hospital were similar to those in Beijing, and they said it was not serious, but apart from a mild cerebral infarction, a carotid arteriosclerosis was also found.

I was still a little worried, and asked the doctor if I should be hospitalized for treatment, but the doctor said that this is not a serious illness, and there is no need to be hospitalized at all, as long as I take the medicine on time and rest for a while, the cerebral infarction will be cured.

I was completely relieved until now, but my dad was very angry, saying that he purposely signed up for an expert account in order to avoid a misdiagnosis, but the doctor who signed up for the expert account regarded a mild cerebral infarction as dementia, which made him feel sick. Our family has been terrified for so many days.

In fact, I was also a little angry. Spending money was second to none. The main reason was that I was terribly scared during this period of time. I have never been so scared when I grow up.

I really thought my mother had dementia, so I watched all the relevant video materials, prevention, and nursing, but in the end I scared myself, feeling lucky and speechless.

Now the problems are basically solved, and I have settled my mother in my hometown. Next, my mother will recuperate and recover, and the author will return to work and resume updates.

Originally, I planned to keep updating this month, but suddenly this force majeure factor appeared, and the author had no choice. I am really sorry.
